Technique: Filigree; this is in fact thin golden wire twisted into refined motifs. This technique demands very high skills and precision from the maker.

Hallmarks: The missing control marks could be explained by the chaos created by the revolution of 1789. It would take 10 to 15 years before the situation in France returned back to normal.
