Curly rose cut diamond earrings studs

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : Although it does not carry any legible control marks we believe it is of Belgian origin.
STYLE : Vintage / Estate
PERIOD : 1905
MATERIAL : 18K bi-color gold (yellow and white), although most of this jewel is in yellow gold, the diamonds are set in white gold. This finds it origin in a much older period where it was common for diamonds to be set in silver (see explanation on silver on gold).
DIAMONDS : 40 rose cut diamonds. We do not have the weight of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts.
WEIGHT : 4.80 gram (3.09 dwt)
HALLMARKS : No trace

SIZE : Height approx. 1.93 cm (0.76 inch)
