STYLE SPECIFICS : Art Nouveau - The floral ornaments and botanical designs are very typical for the Art Nouveau style. Also the use of curvilinear
lines is typical for this period.
PERIOD : 1910
MATERIAL : 18K bi-color gold (yellow and white), although most of this jewel is in yellow gold, the diamonds are set in white gold. This finds it origin in a much
older period where it was common for diamonds to be set in silver (see explanation on
silver on gold).
DIAMONDS : One old mine brilliant
cut diamond with an estimated weight of approx. 0.22 crt.
26 rose cut diamonds. We do
not have the weight of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts.
PRECIOUS STONES : One real orient pearl
