Elegant Victorian rose cut diamonds ring

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : Although it does not carry any legible control marks we believe it is of French origin.
STYLE : Victorian
PERIOD : 1900
MATERIAL : 18K yellow gold and platinum, although most of this jewel is in yellow gold, the diamonds are set in platinum. This finds it origin in a much older period where it was common for diamonds to be set in silver (see explanation on silver on gold).
DIAMONDS : Three rose cut diamonds. We do not have the weight of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts.
WEIGHT : 2.10 gram (1.35 dwt)
HALLMARKS : Illegible remains
