STYLE SPECIFICS : Art Deco - Abstract motives and geometrical forms are quite typical for the Art Deco period.
PERIOD : 1930
MATERIAL : 18K yellow gold and platinum, although the back of this jewel is in yellow gold, the diamonds are set in platinum.
This finds it origin in a much older period where it was common for diamonds to be set in silver (see explanation
on silver on gold).
DIAMONDS : Two old brilliant cut diamonds with a total estimated weight of approx. 0.20 crt. and
20 single brilliant cut diamonds (also called 8/8) with a total estimated weight of approx. 0.60 crt.
