The stones used in this bracelet are lab produced corundums and change color depending of the light source they are exposed to from purple to a greenish dark blue.
These huge stones (11 carat each) are the man-made alternative to natural alexandrite which is a variety of chrysoberyl. Alexandrite, being highly dichroic, appears dull grass-green by daylight but by electric light it appears yellowish or reddish-yellow, and by soft candle-light it appears reddish.
Its original source was near Ekaterinburg, in the Ural Mountains of Russia. The stone was discovered there in 1830, the year Alexander II came of age; hence it was named after him.

THEME : Lotus flower - This might be called the first of all flowers, generally blossoming on stagnant
waters with a perfection so sensual and imperious, that it is not difficult to imagine the lotus as the very first sign
of life upon the vastness of the primeval waters. Its symbolism is infinite. In the land of the Pharaohs, where it
was regarded as the holiest of flowers, 'the blue lotus' suggested the perfume of divine life. On the walls of the
tombs at Thebes, the living and dead of a family are shown smelling the blue flow in an attitude of delight
and inspired by the magic of rebirth.
