A chic pair of Art Deco dangle earrings, set with diamonds, 18kt solid yellow/white gold, lever-back closure, circa 1930’s, excellent vintage condition… A touch of history.

STYLE SPECIFICS : Interbellum - The Interbellum is the period between the two World Wars and one can recognize a transition from the
Art Deco style to the
Retro style.
PERIOD : 1930
MATERIAL : 18K bi-color gold (yellow and white), although most of this jewel is in yellow gold, the diamonds are set in white gold. This finds it origin in a much older period where it was
common for diamonds to be set in silver (see explanation on silver on gold).
DIAMONDS : Four rose cut diamonds. We do not have the weight
of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts.
BIRTHSTONES : Diamond is the birthstone (or month stone) for April.
WEIGHT : 3.40 gram (2.19 dwt)
HALLMARKS : No trace
