Victorian pear shaped diamond Princess necklace

A quality Victorian Princess necklace, solitaire pendant, pear shaped rose diamond set in 14kt yellow gold and silver, circa 1860's… A touch of history.

TECHNIQUE : foil settings - The rose cuts are set on foil. This is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality.
DIAMONDS : One rose cut diamond. Although we normally do not have the weight of rose-cut diamonds (which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts) we estimate this beauty at an approx 1.70 crt!. Also set with 26 smaller rose cut diamonds. We do not have the weight of these diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts.
BIRTHSTONES : Diamond (attributions) is the birthstone (or month stone) for April.
WEIGHT : 3.80 gram (2.44 dwt)
HALLMARKS : Dutch origin oak leaf (pre 1906) - We are certain about the origin of this jewel because of the control mark representing an oak leaf (that was in use in the Netherlands till 1906).
CONDITION : Excellent condition - (our condition scale)
DIMENSIONS : Height pendant approx. 2.72 cm (1.07 inch), length chain approx.46.00 cm (18.11 inch)
