Style specifics: The floral ornaments and botanical designs are very typical for the Art Nouveau style. Also the use of curvilinear lines is typical for this period.

Material: 18K yellow gold and platinum, although most of this jewel is in yellow gold, the diamond is set in platinum. This finds it origin in a much older period (see explanation on silver on gold). - (precious metals)
Extra information:Originally this jewel was born as a brooch but changed into this beautiful necklace.
Diamonds: 69 old mine brilliant cut diamonds with a total estimated weight of approx. 1.42 crt. Precious stones: Seven real orient pearls attached to the center piece, the knitted pearls are of later date and fresh-water pearls and one opal - (precious stones)
