Porcelain jewelry

porcelain jewelry

See our: porcelain jewelry.

Various articles of jewelry made of porcelain or decorated with porcelain, including finger rings, medallions, brooches, pendants, buckles, clasps, buttons, earrings, and posy-holders. Some pieces having flat plaques of porcelain are usually decorated with enamelled floral design, sentimental motifs, or miniature portraits. Some factories made flowers in the round, which were mounted as brooches; examples were made of Belleek porcelain and of Parian porcelain.

Porcelain jewelry has been made also by the Worcester (Chamberlain's) factory, by the makers of Crown Staffordshire, by Lenox China, Inc., in the United States, and by some German factories. Medallions of bone china made by Josiah Wedgwood II and other English porcelain factories were also mounted in jewelry.
