European brilliant cut

A variation from the American brilliant cut, involving changes in the size of the table and depth of the crown.

The European style was calculated in 1940 by Dr W. F. Eppler, and is recognized in Germany. In 1970 a new set of calculation of sizes and angles was developed in Scandinavia, known as 'Scan. D. N.'
